Sonop Rustenburg Granite, Polished, Cross-Cut

Polished Sonop Rustenburg granite (Cross-Cut)—also known as Nero Impala or Nero Africa—is a fine-grained, durable natural stone sourced exclusively from South Africa. Its consistent dark grey to black coloring with subtle flecks of grey and silver makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of architectural and design projects. In a cross-cut, polished finish, the stone is sliced across the natural grain and then finely polished to a high-gloss surface. This cutting technique reveals a more varied and organic pattern, while the polished finish enhances the stone’s depth and reflective qualities, bringing out the natural contrast and crystalline structure. Cross-cut polished Rustenburg granite works well in both interior and exterior spaces, adding visual interest and a refined shine to kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, cladding, and landscaping features. The combination of natural movement and a polished surface creates a bold yet balanced aesthetic that suits both modern and traditional design settings. Like all forms of Rustenburg granite, this finish retains its excellent durability, making it suitable for high-use areas and outdoor applications. The polished surface not only highlights the stone’s character but also provides a sleek, easy-to-clean option for functional and decorative use.
