2000 - The Beginning
With a bold vision, Djordje Gajic turned a liquidated stone processing factory into Afrika National Granite. What started with just five stone-cutting gang saws has grown into one of the industry's leading manufacturers. Based in Alrode, Gauteng, the company now produces 20,000m² of granite slabs each month, supplying high-quality stone locally and worldwide.
Mid-2000s - Strategic Growth
The company expanded its operations by acquiring quarries to ensure an uninterrupted supply of premium blocks. This strategic move strengthened ANG's foundation in the stone industry.

2010s - Market Expansion
ANG established itself in both international and local markets, becoming renowned for K2 and Sonop (Rustenburg-type) materials. The company built lasting relationships with distributors and clients that continue to thrive today.
2015 - Innovation & Development
A significant milestone was reached with the construction of a new factory at the quarry site. Equipped with cutting-edge European machinery, this facility specialized in tombstone manufacturing and cut-to-size products, fulfilling Djordje's vision of providing quality materials at competitive prices.

On May 31, 2021, we bid farewell to our founder, Djordje Gajic, a dedicated leader who was known for his hands-on approach to quality control. Today, his legacy lives on through the second generation of the family, who share his passion for natural stone. ANG continues to thrive as a family business, maintaining the solid reputation and high standards that Djordje established.
