K2 Rustenburg Granite, Polished, Normal-Cut

Polished K2 Rustenburg Granite—also known as Nero Impala or Nero Africa—is a strong, fine-grained natural stone exclusively quarried in South Africa. Its uniform dark grey to black background with subtle specks of grey and silver provides a clean, consistent appearance that works well across a wide range of applications. In a normal-cut (also called straight-cut or vein-cut), the stone is cut along the direction of its natural grain, resulting in a more linear and structured pattern. When polished, this finish enhances the stone’s color and detail with a reflective, high-gloss surface that highlights its depth and mineral composition. Polished, normal-cut Rustenburg granite is particularly well-suited for installations where a sleek and cohesive look is desired—such as countertops, flooring, cladding, and wall panels. It’s especially effective in large-scale projects where uniformity and a refined finish are key. In addition to its polished appearance, this stone retains all the durability Rustenburg granite is known for: it’s hard-wearing, low-maintenance, and resistant to weathering—making it a reliable choice for both interior and exterior use.
